There are several methods you can implement to prevent dry, burning skin. During the winter months drink eight glasses of water. Install an indoor humidifier to humidify the air. Avoid long, hot showers which dry the skin out. If you’re skin does not improve with increased water intake, lotion, and a humidifier then seek medical attention.
